Short version: no cookies, no analytics scripts in your browser, and nothing about you stored by me.
What the host sees
The site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes standard request data (your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser’s user agent) to serve the page and keep the service secure, under its own privacy policy. Netlify may count page views from those server logs; no script runs in your browser for that.
Links to other sites
Links to my other sites (Carlos Builds, Morales Labs, SalsaCoach, TalkEstimate, FaroQuant) carry a tag that tells those sites the visit came from here. That’s the only measurement this site does.
The subscribe form
The form on the Subscribe page is Substack’s. If you use it, Substack handles your email address under Substack’s privacy policy.
Your preferences
If you switch between light and dark, your choice is stored in your own browser so the next page matches. It never leaves your device.
